PeriAgronomy is proud to be one of 4 agents selected to collaborate with UK based OptiSense as part of the EMPHASIS: Science with Farmers - Early Adopters Project. EMPHASIS is a multi-actor approach project, funded under the EU Horizon 2020 Programme.
EMPHASIS (Effective Management of Pests and Harmful Alien Species: Integrated Solutions), a project funded by European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (2014-2020) (Grant Agreement n. 634179) is coordinated by Torino University, involves 22 partners from 9 European Countries, and is aimed at fighting pathogens and pests in agricultural crops and forests.
The overall goal is to ensure the security and sovereignty of the EU food system, along with safeguarding and protecting biodiversity and ecosystem services, while developing response measure integrated mechanisms.
